Who We Are
This policy explains what personal information this website collects, where it goes and what you can do about it. The controller of that information is Obsessive Hair Salon Ltd (company number 15985029), 2 Feathers Lane, Basingstoke, RG21 7AS.

Our Feedback Form
Our customer satisfaction form asks for your first name, last name, email address, your stylist, a star rating, any comments you choose to add and a signature you draw on screen.
When you press submit, your browser sends all of this, including a small image of your signature, to EmailJS, an email sending service run by EmailJS Pte. Ltd. EmailJS turns it into an email and delivers it to the salon. The website itself does not keep a copy.
We use your feedback to look after our clients and improve our service, and your signature to record that you were satisfied with the service on the day.
Our VIP List
If you join our VIP list, we ask for your first name, last name, email address and, if you choose, your mobile number. These are sent straight from your browser to LightDay, the salon software we use for bookings and client records, and added to our client list there so that we can send you offers, news about new treatments and salon news.
The sign up box remembers that you have closed it by saving a small note in your browser's local storage, so it does not keep popping up. That note holds no personal details, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Booking Online
Our Book buttons take you to our booking page on LightDay at app.lightday.app. The details you give when booking are entered on LightDay, not on this website, and we use them to manage your appointment.
A few of our local area pages link to our listing on Fresha instead. Anything you enter there is handled by Fresha under its own privacy policy.
Other Services This Website Uses
Fonts
Our fonts load from Google Fonts. To deliver them your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser details.
Instagram Feed
The Latest Looks gallery on our home page is an Instagram feed shown through LightWidget. To show it, your browser loads a script and a frame from LightWidget, so LightWidget (and Instagram, where the photos come from) receive your IP address and browser details.
Maps and Social Links
We do not embed a map. Our View on Map button opens Google Maps, and our Instagram, Facebook and share buttons open those sites. Nothing is sent to them until you click, and once you do, their own privacy policies apply.
What We Do Not Use
This website has no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, no accounts and no cookies of its own.
Hosting
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages receives your IP address and browser details so that it can send the page to you.
Transfers Outside the UK
EmailJS runs its servers in the United States, so anything you send through our feedback form, including your signature, is processed in the US. Google, which provides our fonts, is also based in the United States, so your IP address may be processed there when the fonts load.
How Long We Keep It
This website does not store your details itself. Feedback emails stay in our inbox and VIP list details stay in our LightDay client records until we delete them. If you would like yours removed, contact us and we will do it.
Your Rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it and ask us to stop sending you marketing at any time. Email [email protected] and we will help.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
